The NARS Foundation Studios are open to visitors twice a year, in the spring and fall. Each fall the NARS Foundation also participates in Sunset Park Open Studios, an event organized by community arts organization Sunset Park Wide Open (SPWO), which welcomes the public to explore the arts organizations in the Sunset Park neighborhood.
In 2019 the first Sunset Park Open Studios event came together from a community effort in which NARS Foundation, along with other arts organizations in the neighborhood, presented free cultural programming and provided access to the studios of hundreds of artists for one weekend, and for local communities and visitors to explore the work that is done in Sunset Park at large.
