NARS Foundation is proud to present Utterances, a group exhibition presenting the works of the Season IV, 2021 International Residency Artists.

The plurality of voices and views in this exhibition enables a rich dialogue that explores notions of the body, memory, language, ecology, and history, as spaces for reconstruction, hybridity and liberation, but also for questioning social injustices.

To achieve such dialogues the artists employ diverse manifestations such as performance, poetry, painting, photography, sculpture, video and installation. Their practices converge in the desire to reconsider the interior and exterior landscape —be it metaphorical, physical or social— as a space for the edifying of an identity that is constantly navigating between the social and the intimate.
