Join us for the next session of our free workshop series, led by teaching artist Jas Pinturas.
For the fifth session of the Saturday Free Family Workshops, Jas will lead a stained glass-making workshop. Using popsicle sticks, cellophane paper, tissue paper, and glue, participants will create visuals that allow sunlight to pass through their creations. In this session, we will explore techniques inspired by stained glass windows, mosaics, colors, and spring! Starting with a shape traced on translucent paper, we’ll use colorful cellophane and tissue paper to paste and build a more complex image. Participants are encouraged to elaborate on their artwork with additional materials such as glitter and markers.
This workshop is free to attend, and all materials are provided.
All participants under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult unless the child has written consent by their legal guardian and notarized to travel home alone.

En la quinta sesión de los Talleres Familiares Gratuitos de los Sábados, Jas guiará un taller de creación de vidrieras. Utilizando palitos de paleta, papel celofán, papel de seda y pegamento, los participantes crearán imágenes que permiten que la luz del sol pase a través de sus diseños.
Durante la sesión, exploraremos técnicas inspiradas en vitrales, mosaicos, colores y la llegada de la primavera. Comenzaremos con una forma trazada en papel translúcido y agregaremos capas de papel celofán y papel de seda de colores para construir una imagen más compleja. Los participantes podrán enriquecer sus creaciones con materiales adicionales como purpurina y marcadores.
Este taller es completamente gratuito e incluye todos los materiales.
Todos los participantes menores de 10 años deben estar acompañados por un adulto, a menos que el niño cuente con el consentimiento por escrito de su tutor legal, debidamente notariado, para regresar solo a casa.

10岁以下儿童需由成年人陪同参加，除非持有法定监护人签署并公证的书面同意书，允许其独自返家。
