Artist Statement/ Biography

Traci’s art practice hinges on research, collaboration, and political engagement. Her experimental essay films privilege the soundscape, enmeshing it with images to induce unfamiliar and emotional sensory experiences only possible in cinema. Though they diverge in subject matter, each of her films poses questions about systemic issues by way of portraiture.
