What symbols and pictures would you use to describe your family history?
This Mother's Day weekend, build a collage to visualize your family identity through symbols! Join teaching artist and South Brooklyn resident Jose Arenas as he investigates, in his own work, his dual identities and growing up in two countries. Guided by paintings recently exhibited at the NARS Foundation Gallery, kids and their families will practice making the abstract concrete and visual through drawing and collage.
For kids aged 4-12 and their caregivers
