Artist Statement/ Biography

Eun Jin Wang is interested in creating installation work with ordinary materials found in our daily life. She engaged these objects with architectural features of a specific space. Through her process, Wang explores and rethinks the definition of space to question and remember the moment of our life.

Eun Jin Wang was born in 1990 in Seoul, South Korea and currently based in Seoul. Wang received her MFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute in New York, U.S.A. and her MA in Artist Teacher and Contemporary Practice from Goldsmiths University in London. Her works has been shown in several group shows around the world and she participated artist in residencies in Barcelona and Tokyo.
