NARS Foundation is pleased to present Breaking Point, an exhibition featuring the works of our Season III, 2021 Artists in Residence, Roni Aviv, Ahmet Civelek, Leah Dyjak, Caroline Falby, Martin Pelenur, Verónica Peña, Michael Pribich, and Hae Won Sohn.
Breaking Point explores ideas of destruction, accidents, failure, death, but also labor and human connection, through poetic encounters that arrive by means of walking, mark making, mold making & breaking, through stillness and storytelling.
Notions of multiplicity and transformation weave their way into the gallery through installation, painting, photography, drawing and collage – their materiality is rooted in the tension and fragility that threads through life, and expands the limits of what process can be.
