Artist Panel Discussion: April 16th, 2011 @ 4pm
Moderator: Professor John Rajchman, Columbia University

NARS Foundation is pleased to announce an Artist Panel Discussion held by Professor John Rajchman who will lead a discussion with the artists of "Within You Without You" following a presentation of their work by the curator Michelle Loh.

Each of the works in "Within You Without You" is a kind of self-portrait that investigates the essential connection between the self and society; the dynamic is played out and transformed in the connection of each work to the others and to the exhibition as a whole. John Rajchman is a philosopher who has written extensively on French philosophy and on contemporary art and architecture. He is a professor in the art history department at Columbia University where he teaches a seminar on contemporary Chinese art. He is a contributing editor at Artforum. His most recent book is "French Philosophy since 1945: Problems, Concepts, Inventions".

The exhibition "Within You Without You" will be on view at The NARS Gallery until May 8, 2011
