The Artist Salon series is a program organized by NARS artists for their fellow studio artists and residency artists.  The studio artists who work within NARS Foundation coordinate artist talks, presentations, studio visits and various other engagements to encourage intellectual dialogue between its participants.  Inspiration does not only come from other art but by the times, the surrounding environment and active communication.  The Artist Salon Committee supports the Artist Salon series will further the creative professional development of its artists.

Initial meeting for presentation with artist Griselda M. Healy and Ellen Coleman will be on the 3rd floor Parlor Room.  The doors between studio 2 & 3 will be open from 6:30pm for easy access to all facilities.  The NARS 3rd floor entrance doors at 36Street will be open for additional guests until 7:15pm.  After the presentation, we will move to both hosting artists studios on the fourth floor(#402 and #404).  Please keep in mind, these summer sessions are testing grounds and kinks are still being worked out.  Feel free to bring your own refreshments, we are expecting this session to go to 9 pm.

Please contact operations@narsfoundation.org or 718-768-2765 for more information.
